It's been a while, but from what I remember we covered the basics of the animal kingdom, plant life, cells, and the only time we went in depth was during projects. For the little interesting bits like the ones you told me depended on who did the project or the teacher teaching the course. In my last basic bio course, the one I took for college, my professor was crazy about felines. I have a composition book somewhere full of stuff on cats.nightseer
